The Doctor Is In

Hello, there. My name is Ayame, and I'm in charge of the clinic in Konohana. If you don't feel well, feel free to stop by and have a check up.

[with red spraypaint in hand, walks up to Konohana’s message board]

Oooooh please forgive me.

[sprays BLUEBELL RULES, KONOHANA DROOLS on the board]

[studies his work]

[adds I love you guys though to the bottom and flees]

*walks by while carrying a basket of various fungi, freezing when she sees the red spray paint*

*frowns deeply, glancing through the various specimens before picking up a particularly questionable looking one and turning it over in her hand*

… we’ll see who drools come tomorrow~…

*chuckles lightly before continuing on to the clinic where she heads up to the kitchen*

((30 Day Challenge: BLITZ ATTACK Days 28-30))

28.) If your character’s life was a genre, what would it be?

Medical. And possibly drama. But none as of yet.

29.) How does your character smell? Do they wear perfume or cologne?

Ayame smells of whatever perfume strikes her fancy, but she always has a faint herbal, almost medical smell underneath it all.

30.) And finally: Write a letter to your character, from yourself.

Dear Ayame,

I know that you love your work, first and foremost. I know that you try really hard, and you work so much harder than you really have to trying to make sure all of your information on the herbs and fungi that you use is accurate and complete.

But take time to take care of yourself, too. You don’t really concern yourself so much with romance and relationships, which I can understand, but don’t write it off so completely.

Love, the Boss

Dear Gina

I’m doing quite well, as is Chihiro. And we’ve been doing especially well in our lovely little cooking contests! Bluebell must by now acknowledge that Konohana is inhabited by more talented cooks~.

It’s so good to hear that you’re happy being back in Flowerbud, it’s important to be happy where you work. Do know that you’re always welcome back in Konohana; we’d be pleased to have you around!

If your duty is in one place, then it’s important to see through to what you are supposed to, but never let your duty to one place keep you where you are. If you feel the need to expand your experiences in your field, find a way to do so. I believe things will work out in your favor if you do so.

Attached are some notes I’ve taken on morchella elata and a few unnamed molds that I’ve been growing in the petri dishes in my lab, along with relevant pictures.

Sincerely,

Nakano Ayame

Ayame,

I’m glad you guys are doing well. Oh my goodness! All of you have finally starting upstanding Bluebell in the cooking contests? That is great news to hear, I cannot wait to be there and witness it first hand. I will make sure to make time, even if its for my studies, to come back and visit.

You always know exactly what wise words to tell me, Nakano. I appreciate it very much. I have been struggling with what I wish to do with my studies, and also what I am obligated to accomplish. I care for Miss Dia very much and her well-being and I will make sure to see her face when we can diagnose and cure her.

Although, I have this itch, this burning desire to explore more than what I think I know. I desire to learn, not from text, but from experience and hard work out in the field. I feel I will have to satiate these desires soon, but I haven’t the foggiest of how I will accomplish it.

These notes are absolutely fantastic! I know not very much about mold and its properties so this is exhilarating. I will study them, and I will make sure to send you notes I’ve written, as well as hypotheses on Dia’s condition that I would love your input on!

Yes! It’s a wonderful thing, and I’ve been experimenting with local fungi in my dishes instead of the traditional ones… Chihiro is such a good boy, he always tries out my little experiments~. Thankfully I know enough about the fungi that I can avoid the extremely poisonous ones, or we might both become ill from my cooking, and that would just ruin my reputation!

Well, it’s wonderful that you’d like to continue your studies! A good way to do that would be to go study under a number of doctors, possibly take a few classes if you’ve got time to spare… More experience has never hurt anyone in our line of work.

That’s a wonderful idea and I look forward to receiving any notes on Miss Dia’s condition~.

Sincerely,

Nakano Ayame
